Ireland's Rivers, Lakes etc.

Ireland has thousands of rivers and streams , hundreds of lakes and ponds of every shape and size, several artificial canals and reservoirs, plus an indeterminate number of seasonally disappearing bodies of water called turloughs. While listing all of them would be impossible, some of the best known are set out below.
